Dormancia en yemas de especies forestales

Abstract

La mayoría de las plantas perennes de clima templado-frío presentan un periodo de dormancia durante su ciclo anual de crecimiento. Desde hace más de cuarenta años los investigadores han tratado de explicar cuál es el valor adaptativo de este proceso a través del entendimiento de la relación que guarda con factores ambientales. En este documento se describe el conocimiento existente en este tema.
