Abstract

o objetivo deste estudo é definir padrões para classificar a vegetação através da utilização de subquadrantes de imagens do Satélite Landsat-TM, composição colorida falsa cor, bandas 3,4 e 5, na escala de 1:50.000. A classificação foi feita através do processo defotointerpretação, correlação de informações auxiliares disponíveis, trabalhos de campo e análise dos dados. Elaborou-se uma tabela de correlação dos dados com9 (nove) temas para a vegetação e 1 (um)temapara outros usos, concluindo-se que os melhores padrões para a classificação foram a cor, o contraste e a convergência de evidências.
