Entre la medicina tradicional y la medicina doméstica.

Abstract

El propósito de este ensayo es mostrar algunas prácticas comunes presentes en la medicina tradicional y doméstica que siguen vigentes en las localidades de la región Lerma Bajío. Alternativas de amplio uso como la herbolaria a la que tanto hombres como mujeres han recurrido en los últimos dos años de la pandemia de Coronavirus. Estos conocimientos de largo aliento implican combinar distintas terapéuticas para hacer frente a la sintomatología provocada por el SARS CoV-2. En recorridos por las localidades de la región se ha podido constatar las enormes dificultades por las que los distintos sistemas de salud se han visto rebasados. La población por su parte, conocedora de las plantas, los remedios caseros entre otras resiliencias, han tomado iniciativa de apoyar a sus familiares o vecinos enfermos, echando a andar una compleja red de saberes que van desde el uso de la herbolaria hasta el acompañamiento en familia.
