Abstract

Resumo: A broncofibroscopia (BFB) é efectuada geralmente sob anestesia local, com ou sem sedação.O objectivo deste estudo é escolher o protocolo anes-tésico utilizado durante a BFB que tenha menos complicações e seja mais bem tolerado.Este estudo prospectivo randomizado analisou 80 doentes que foram submetidos a BFB.Os doentes foram randomizados e divididos em quatro grupos de 20 doentes cada, de acordo com a combinação anestésica utilizada: 200 mg de lidocaína tópica1; 200 mg de lidocaína tópica e propofol, 2 mg/kg2; 200 mg de lidocaína tópica e alfentanil 20 mcg/kg3; ou 200 mg de lidocaína tópica e midazolan 0,005 mg/kg4. Durante o exame foram avaliados diversos scores de acordo com diferentes variáveis e, posteriormente, avaliados os scores mais baixos e o respectivo índice de complicações.Os resultados foram avaliados estatisticamente e a análise revelou que a combinação2 200 mg de lidocaína tópica e propofol, 2 mg/kg, teve uma eficácia superior às outras associações.
