Abstract

Bu han (ö. 256/870) hadis tarihine hi eri üçüncü asırda et-Tcirihu'l-kebir, et-Tcirihu'l-evsat ve edDua{ ciu's-sağir adlı eserleriyle rical ve cerh-ta'di1 ilminde önemli bir yer edinmiştir. Buhari bu eserleriyle rical ilminde yeni bir ~ığır açmış, yeni bir metot geliştirmiştir: Bu çalışmada Buhari'nin uzman olduğu bir diğer alan olan rical ilmindeki yeri ortaya konulmaya çalışılmış ve bu maksatla .onun ricalle ilgili eserleri metot ve muhteva bakımından incelenmiştir
