ANTECEDENTES DO ABSENTEÍSMO

Abstract

Este estudo investiga fatores que contribuem para o absenteísmo de operadores de produção de um frigorífico de aves, com foco nas demandas do trabalho, burnout, qualidade da relação líder-liderado (LMX) e comprometimento organizacional afetivo. A pesquisa foi realizada em um frigorífico avícola no Triângulo Mineiro e envolveu 157 operadores. Os dados foram analisados por meio de modelagem de equações estruturais. Os resultados mostraram que as demandas do trabalho contribuem para a exaustão e o desligamento, componentes do burnout, enquanto a qualidade da relação líder-liderado reduz as demandas percebidas. Além disso, o comprometimento organizacional afetivo, influenciado pela exaustão e desligamento, teve efeito significativo na redução do absenteísmo. A pesquisa contribui para a compreensão das dinâmicas psicossociais no setor frigorífico, caracterizado por condições laborais adversas. De uma perspectiva aplicada, as evidências apontam que intervenções focadas na gestão de demandas e no fortalecimento da relação líder-liderado podem contribuir para mitigar o absenteísmo.
