HELECHOS Y LICOFITAS: ACTUALIZACIÓN DE LA FLORA DEL VALLE DE LERMA – SALTA, ARGENTINA

Abstract

Se presenta un listado actualizado de la diversidad de helechos y licófitas del Valle de Lerma, Salta (Argentina), como resultado de la revisión bibliográfica, la consulta de los ejemplares depositados en herbarios nacionales y colectas hechas ex profeso. Se registran 115 especies, nueve correspondientes a actualizaciones taxonómicas y 16 a nuevos registros respecto a la publicación original, dos de ellos se citan por primera vez para la región noroeste de Argentina: Microgramma vaccinifolia y Pellaea atropurpurea. La gran mayoría son plantas nativas, cuatro crecen como naturalizadas: Adiantum peruvianum, Pellaea atropurpurea, Pteris cretica y P. vittata. De las 17 familias presentes, las mejor representadas son Pteridaceae con 33 especies, Polypodiaceae con 19 especies, Aspleniaceae con 15 especies y Dryopteridaceae con 11 especies. La diversidad de helechos y licófitas para el Valle de Lerma representa el 27 % de la citada para la flora argentina.
