Algunas Referencias Sobre La Lengua De Los Diaguitas Chilenos II Parte

Abstract

The following information about the chilean diaguitas'indigenous tongue for the historic period of the spanish conquest complements the previous report published in the first issue of the magazine LOGOS. Ricardo Latcham's hypothesis and Jorge lribarren critical position are here confronted in addition to a brief account of the linguistic situation in south-western Argentina. There is also a presentation of some specifically linguistic statements about "cacán" by Antonio Tovar, Cestmir Loukotka and Rodolfo Schuller as well as our own conclusions.
