La proyección internacional de la revolución Cubana en el siglo XXI : la diplomacia social.

Abstract

E l artículo analiza la proyección internacional de la Revolución Cubana, discutiendo los desdoblamientos de su soft power que contribuyeron en el proceso de reinserción internacional de Cuba. Por lo tanto, tras presentar una breve discusión del concepto de soft power y de las transformaciones en el escenario internacional contemporáneo, analiza el cambio en la utilización de su soft power en el proceso revolucionario cubano. Siendo así, apunta que este poder estuvo, en los años dorados de la Revolución (años 60 y 70), centralizado en la aura revolucionaria y en el carisma de sus liderazgos (Fidel Castro, Che Guevara y otros). En la primera década del siglo XXI, logró nuevos desdoblamientos apoyados en la emergencia de la Diplomacia Social, centralizada en la cooperación con los servicios sociales (salud, educación, deporte y otros), contribuyendo en el establecimiento de lazos diplomáticos y el desarrollo de una imagen positiva del país.
