Abstract

Currently, photography goes through a process of transformation in its way of representing the world. Overcome its vocation and indexical essence (Dubois,1994 Krauss, 1990). It has come to claim its independence at the front of the object that represents (sign), in other words, the image has transcended its referent. Photography has created its own world and now also wants to create the laws that guide its universe. It is up to the following Final Master's Project, from the artistic and theoretical analysis, to investigate the different imaginary spaces in which we live, through the use of appropriationist practices. This positioning proposes treating the photographs with a certain distance, privileging the reassignment of a new meaning to the discarded images and also the creative freedom during the composition of the artistic pieces
