Abstract

Worldwide, there are many alternatives offered to include journals in directories, indexes, catalogs, databases, among others, in order to give greater visibility and improve the retrieval of information from articles published in scientific journals. Some of these initiatives include journals just by filling out a form or registering the journal on the system's site, and others require a more complex procedure that implies that the journal complies with a series of quality characteristics in the management of processes. editorials and published content. However, the Journals in most cases do not review and assume that they meet all the criteria, which is why a tool is required that allows editors to assess their processes. The prototype of the platform that is proposed in this project focuses on two fundamental aspects, the first is related to linking the published works with other research through the proper use and traceability of the references used, and the second in aspects of visibility. As they are areas of greater publication and citation of the Journal, likewise, an institutional relationship map will be generated in accordance with the cited references, in order to control aspects such as institutional inbreeding or inbreeding of authors.
