Military and political efforts of Uzbekistan in search of internal and external development strategy of the Republic after disintegration the Soviet Union and the proclamation of in dependence were analyzed. В работе проанализирована военная политика Узбекистана в постсоветский период. Рассмотрены конституционно-законодательное обеспечение процесса формирования национальных Вооруженных сил, их кадровое и военно-техническое обеспечение, состояние современного вооружения сухопутных и военно-воздушных сил. Приведены примеры военно-политического сотрудничества республики с США, Россией, НАТО, СНГ, ОДКБ, ШОС, ГУУАМ.

Розглянуто конституційно-законодавче забезпечення процесу формування національних Збройних сил, їх кадрове та військово-технічне забезпечення, стан сучасного озброєння сухопутних та військово-повітряних сил. Наведено приклади військово-політичної співпраці республіки із США, Росією, НАТО, СНД, ОДКБ, ШОС, ГУУАМ.
