DWDM technology and ASON

Abstract

Yeni nesil haberleşmenin odak noktası olan ` Yoğun Dalga Boyunu Bölerek Çoğullama` sistemlerinin gelişimi gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında ` Yoğun Dalga Boyunu Bölerek Çoğullama ` sistemleri gelişen yeni teknolojileri ile birlikte incelenmiş ve bu sistemler için önemli olan saçılma faktörü gibi parametreler gerçek saha ölçümleri ile değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca yazılımsal ve donanımsal gelişimler ile birlikte ortaya çıkan `Otomatik Anahtarlama Optik Network` teknolojisi incelenmiş ve bazı karşılaştırmalar yapılmıştır. Bu tez çalışması yapılan donanımsal ve yazılımsal değişikliklerden örnekler ve çalışmalar sonucunda ortaya çıkan sonuçları içermektedir.

DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) system which is the main point for telecommunication networks; evolved rapidly day by day. In this thesis, DWDM systems are analysing with new technologies and also evaluating some parameters like dispersion parameter with real measurements. Furthermore, there are comparison of results between real mesaurements and ASON (Automatic Switching Optical Network) which has grown with new hardware and software technologies. This thesis is related with these hardware and software technologies and measurements of real systems.
