Biocontrol de la Escoba de Bruja del Mango, con Trichoderma spp., en Condiciones de Campo

Abstract

Se evaluó la efectividad biológica en campo de T richoderma spp., en el control de la escoba de bruja del m a n g o o c a s i o n a d a p o r F u s a r i u m o x y s p o r u m y F . subglutinans en dos ciclos de producción en una huerta comercial de mango cv . Haden de 20 años de edad, en T uxpan, Gro. Los tratamientos fueron: 1) T richoderma harzianum cepa Thzn-2; 2) T . harzianum cepa Thzcf-12; 3) T . lignorum ; 4) Benomilo; 5) Benzotiazol + Metilen bistiocionato y 6) testigo absoluto; se distribuyeron en un diseño de bloques completos al azar , con 5 repeticiones. Se realizaron ocho aspersiones aéreas, cada 15 d desde mediados de octubre. Las variables evaluadas fueron: 1) -2 número de inflorescencias sanas y enfermas m y por área de copa; 2), número total de frutos por árbol; 3), eficiencia productiva; y 4) severidad de la enfermedad. Se realizó un análisis de varianza, prueba de T ukey y contrastes ortogonales. T . lignorum y Thzn-2 presentaron la mayor c a n t i d a d d e i n f l o r e s c e n c i a s s a n a s , s u p e r a n d o a l o s fungicidas químicos. La cantidad de frutos por árbol y la eficiencia productiva tendió aumentar en el segundo año de evaluación en los tratamientos a base de T richoderma . Con los dos años de evaluación consecutivos se comprobó que T richoderma spp., es un buen agente de biocontrol. En particular , T richoderma harzianum cepa nativa Thzn-2 redujo la severidad en promedio 22.9 % comparado con el testigo.
