Computer simulation of austenite decomposition

Abstract

An algorithm for prediction of austenite decomposition in quenched steel specimens have been established. The inversion method of estimation of microstructure transformation dynamics during the quenching has been established in this work. The method is based on Jominy-test results. The established algorithms of austenite decomposition have been applied in simulation of austenite decomposition in concrete steel.
