Estimación de la densidad de la madera mediante técnicas pseudo-no destructivas

Abstract

Este trabajo de fin de grado se centra en obtener la densidad de la madera puesta en obra mediante varios tipos de ensayos pseudo-no destructivos, concretamente cuatro: el penetrómetro, el arranque de tornillos, el extractor de virutas y el resistógrafo, utilizados habitualmente por el Grupo de Investigación en Estructuras y Tecnología de la Madera de la Universidad de Valladolid para la estimación de la densidad de la madera y de esta manera poder ser utilizado en inspecciones técnicas de edificios patrimoniales. El objetivo principal es hallar los modelos de regresión propios de cada uno de ellos, y compararlos entre sí, con el método normalizado de obtención de la densidad, para conocer su nivel de fiabilidad. Para ello, se realizaron ensayos en probetas de seis especies diferentes de madera: paulownia, chopo, pino radiata, pino silvestre, roble y elondo. Todas ellas de densidades variadas, para comprobar cómo se comportan los equipos frente a cada una de ellas. Como conclusión principal se obtuvo que existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre los valores estimados mediante los diferentes ensayos pseudo-no destructivos y la densidad real de las piezas de madera.
