Katalog sadrži informacije o folklornim skupinama koje su gostovale na 43. međunarodnoj smotri folklora u Zagrebu. Program je bio posvećem dvjema temama: folkloru Istre te kolu kao univerzalnom plesnom obliku. Sudionici iz Hrvatske došli su iz sljedećih mjesta: Davor, Gospić, Kalinovac, Mirlović Zagora, Šiškovci, Veleševec, Barban, Cere, Galižana, Kršan, Lanišće, Marušići, Podgaće, Prapoće, Raša, Roč, Željane, Lanišće, Lindar, Marčana, Sv. Petar u Šumi, Žminj. Inozemne folklorne skupine došle su iz Alžira, Bugarske, Crne Gore, Indonezije, Irske, Japana, Mađarske, Makedonije, Portugala, Velike Britanije i Zambije.
