Abstract

Uma alta rugosidade superficial e adequado diâmetro médio geométrico (DMG) dos torrões do solo são propri- edades de superfície desejáveis para o controle da erosão hídrica. Por outro lado, ainda é pouco conhecido o efeito da opera- ção de semeadura sobre estas propriedades. Em um solo Podzólico Vermelho Amarelo, avaliou-se o efeito dos sulcadores de semeadura duplo disco defasado, duplo disco e cinzel sobre a rugosidade superficial e a distribuição média geométrica dos torrões a seco, induzidas por uma escarificação na presença de três doses de resíduos vegetais de ervilhaca e aveia. O DMG dos torrões induzidos pelo escarificador não foi alterado pelos sulcadores de semeadura. A rugosidade superficial remanes- cente da escarificação foi alterada apenas pelo sulcador de cinzel.
