This study aims to develop a scale for attitude levels of prospective teachers about global warming. It has been applied by revising scale items in literature and asking opinions of the experts. The preliminary scale, which has been decreased to 59 items in result of content validity, was applied to 314 students who enroll in Giresun University, Faculty of Education, Primary Teacher Training Department in November 2008. In the research, the scale s t values are meaningful for all items and item total correlation changes between 0.486 and 0.707. Applicated on 37 items, the KMO value is .928 and meaningfulness value of Bartlett Test is .00. In addition, it is observed that the items factor weight values group on the first factor and 37 scale items factor weight values are equal to and above 0.476. Speaking of the scale s reliability, Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient is 0.94 ( = 0.94).
