MAR DEL SUR DE CHINA Y SUS IMPLICACIONES EN EL DERECHO DEL MAR

Abstract

Este Trabajo analiza las reclamaciones territoriales más importantes sobre el mar del Sur de China y estudia los fundamentos jurídicos que justifican esas reivindicaciones conforme al derecho del mar internacional, desarrollando su evolución histórica con especial atención a la Convención de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Derecho del Mar. Este Trabajo busca también relacionar el statu quo del mar del Sur de China con su encaje jurídico en el derecho internacional, centrándose primordialmente en las reclamaciones y acciones por parte de la República Popular de China, además de plantear las distintas posibles soluciones para poner fin al conflicto existente.
