Metodologija bihevioralne ekonomije

Abstract

Bihevioralna ekonomija je novo područje ekonomije. Potječe od Bihevioralne znanosti koja analizira ponašanje ljudi i životinja. Javlja se sredinom prošloga stoljeća razvojem kognitivne znanosti. Temelji se na kombinaciji ekonomskih analiza i istraživanja na području bihevioralne i kognitivne psihologije. Nastala je kao odgovor na neoklasičnu ekonomsku teoriju i teoriju racionalnog izbora. Najviše su njenom razvoju pridonijeli psiholozi Amos Tversky i Daniel Kahneman sa radom Prospect Theory. Oni su u svojim eksperimentima objasnili da postoje dva kognitivna sustava koja utječu na donošenje odluka, prvi je brzi automatski Sustav 1, a drugi je spori i lijeni Sustav 2. Navode i heuristike pomoću kojih se ljudima olakšava donošenje odluka. Teorijom vjerojatnosti opovrgavaju neoklasičnu teoriju očekivane korisnosti. Dokazali su da gubici psihološki jače utječu na ljude od dobitaka, te zbog toga ljudi imaju averziju prema gubicima. Smatra se da ljudi nisu racionalna bića, već da su potpuno iracionalni u donošenju odluka.
