Un caso de paludismo congénito

Abstract

Historia No. 1.100.- Clínica Obstétrica. Hospital de San Juan de Dios. VIl-9. 1947. Historia de la niña. Peso 3.200 gramos. Respiración espontánea, presentación de cara. VII. 9 1947.: Hepato y esplenomegalia que llegan a 3 dedos por debajo del reborde costal. Cianosis, convulsiones en miembros inferiores, superiores y cara, nistagmus horizontal, fontanela tensa, gran deshidratación. Foco bronconeumónico en la .base izquierda. Cianosis, disnea, aleteo nasal, bradicardia, mirada de terror, quejido contínuo, hipomanía muscular, miosis. No hay reflejo a la luz ni de presión palmar, ni de presión plantar, ni de Collin. Actitud: miembros en extensión, no llora, reflejo de Moro negativo.
