Abstract

"Actualmente, las instituciones educativas de nivel superior integran las competencias cognitivas en la preparación curricular de los futuros egresados para facilitar al estudiante el proceso de adaptación en la sociedad, la asimilación de las nuevas tecnologías y la incorporación al mercado laboral. En México, las universidades ofrecen diversas modalidades educativas a la tradicional como la mixta o a distancia con la finalidad de desarrollar las habilidades, los conocimientos y las actitudes (competencias) en los estudiantes a través del uso de los avances tecnológicos. En este sentido, los docentes enfrentan el desafío de crear espacios virtuales de aprendizaje que permitan transmitir eficientemente el mensaje a los alumnos y cumplan las demandas de lasociedad. Por ejemplo, la planeación y organización de productos interactivos multimedia usables y accesibles en Internet permiten a los alumnos universitarios desarrollar las competencias que exigen la sociedad del siglo xxi a través de distintos canales de comunicación como la voz o el texto que se adaptan a los estilos de aprendizaje teórico, pragmático, reflexivo y activo. El objetivo de este texto es describir los beneficios de diseñar e implementar sitios web accesibles y usables para las asignaturas de nivel superior relacionadas con la Informática (Lenguajes de Programación)."
