Męskości opiekuńcze. Zaangażowanie w ojcostwo a rekonstrukcja modeli męskości

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest analiza doświadczeń ojców, którzy w związku z ojcostwem zrezygno- wali z pracy zawodowej i poświęcili się opiece nad dziećmi. Ich doświadczenia są badane w kontekście teorii męskości opiekuńczych, która dostarcza narzędzi teoretycznych, po- zwalających na analizę relacji pomiędzy modelami ojcostwa i męskości. Analiza poka- zuje, że doświadczenie pracy opiekuńczej nad małymi dziećmi zmienia sposób myślenia mężczyzn. Rezygnują oni ze swojej niezależności, zaczynają doceniać nieodpłatną pracę domową i zdawać sobie sprawę z kulturowej konstrukcji tradycyjnych ról rodzicielskich.
