ANESTESIA SUBARACNOIDEA PARA CESAREAS, COMPARACION DE DOS DOSIS DE BUPIVACAINA PESADA AL 0.5% CONFETANIL

Abstract

The worldwide incidence of cesarean section surgery ranges between 15 and 48%. The majority of maternal deaths related to anesthesia occur during general anesthesia as a result of failed intubation, difficulty in ventilating and oxygenating patients, and bronchoaspiration. Many anesthesiologists recommend regional anesthesia when possible and leave general anesthesia only when absolutely necessary. The use of regional anesthesia for cesarean section surgery is as high as 96% in most hospital centers. Fetal outcomes are better with regional anesthesia for cesarean than general anesthesia, spinal anesthesia is being more widely used because it is considered safer than other techniques. Using effective doses with the least hypo tensor effect is a way to rationalize the use of anesthetics.
