Abstract

The article examines the potential of international practices for designing the subject environment of kindergartens, which have their own history and traditions. Based on the comparison of pedagogical ideas of the past and modern approaches to the design of the subject environment in different countries of the world, the authors come to the conclusion about the possibility of integrating the considered approaches into the practice of Russian preschool education.
