Colaboración educativa en la sociedad del conocimiento

Abstract

El mundo globalizado en el estamos inmersos plantea retos y exigencias a los centros educativos. La participación y la colaboración surgen como desafíos cada vez más acuciantes en la sociedad actual, y el futuro de la educación pública está orientado a la implicación de los centros educativos en sus comunidades socioculturales. En la Ley Orgánica de Educación (LOE, 2006) se habla de la participación como principio constitucional y la necesidad de colaborar y trabajar en equipo de manera interna y externa al centro. Ante estos supuestos teóricos, planteamos la necesidad de conocer las relaciones de colaboración que los centros educativos de secundaria mantienen con el entorno y si para ello cuentan con el apoyo de las tecnologías. Entre los resultados y conclusiones de este estudio, podemos destacar que las relaciones más habituales son las efectuadas con otros centros educativos y con las instituciones locales. Para establecerlas, más de la mitad de los docentes andaluces de secundaria no cuentan con las tecnologías, aunque más de 60% estarían interesados en encontrarse inmersos en redes educativas, profesionales y sociales. Los resultados reflejan que debemos potenciar las redes y comunidades virtuales como puentes para crear relaciones de colaboración, estables y fuertes, que promuevan mejoras y cambios significativos en los centros educativos.
