Terapia cognitiva y terapia familiar en anorexia nerviosa y bulimia nerviosa

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to explore the characteristics of Cognitive Therapy and Family Therapy in patients Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa. The indication of a therapy also depends on the stage of the disease and age of the subject. In the first moments paramount is to eliminate the symptom, why behavioral techniques and psycho-educational elements of CBT are often extremely important. More advanced therapy should aim to understand and modify both individual and relational deeper aspects that may contribute to the pathology. There is evidence that the TF is more effective in adolescents with short onset of the disease rather than young adults who have turned away from their families.
