Takviyeli Polietilen Boruların Kaynak Birleştirmelerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Ahmet ŞENTÜRK Keywords: Forced PE pipe, Joining methods, Welding parameters, mechanical tests. Abstract: Firstly, polimer pipe materials have been examined in this thesis. Nowadays, in Turkish market the use of Polyethylene pipes has increased rapidly. This type of pipes are used in transportation of natural gas. drinkable water and waste water. PE pipes are generally joined by using several welding methods. In this study extrusion welding method have been used for joining PE pipes. Mechanical tests such as tensile and bending test have been carried out on the weldments.
