U ovom radu se daje prikaz Mundell-Flemingovog modela otvorene privrede, jednog od najpoznatijih modela takve vrste. Autor daje potpunu matematičku razradu modela, kao i prikaz djelovanja modela u situacijama monetare i fiskalne ekspanzije. Nadalje, autor mijenja osnovnu pretpostavku modela o potpunoj mobilnosti kapitala i daje modificirani Mundell-Flemingov model uz pretpostavku potpune nemobilnosti kapitala. Potom autor uspoređuje rezultate dviju verzija modela i njihove implikacije za ekonomsku politiku.
