Abstract

The purpose of this study families with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder to examine the effects of participation on themselves, their children and their children's Sport.The Research Working Group of 8 who play sports for at least 1 year aileli an individual consists of a diagnosis of autism.The research data were collected using qualitative research techniques. In this context, questions of 19 semi-structured interview form has been prepared. Semi-structured interview questions within the scope of the scope of children motoric change is a mental change, improvement in daily living skills, a decrease in problematic behaviors, social and sensory events in the development of the themes to cover an increase in life skills was created, and the opinions of Experts on the subject were taken. Prepared semi-structured interview form in the framework; interviews with participants were conducted face to face. The interviews were recorded with a voice recorder after obtaining the permission of the respondents. Discussions which is obtained from records, audio files transferred to a computer after the results were decoded by the researcher by content analysis method by tabular kategorilestirile.Reliability and validity in research; in the opinion of two experts in the preparation of the interview form is referenced bluntly explained the method and steps of research, the findings also Frequent quotations have been given.According to research findings, children's cognitive, social, and life skills daily living skills problem behavior motoric branch of the family is sporty, mental, emotional and socialization development and change in the areas it has been found that at a point in a very positive way.As a result of sporting activities made a positive impact on the quality of life for individuals with autism and their families, it can be said that.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Otizm spektrum bozukluğu bulunan çocuklara sahip ailelerin, çocuklarının spora katılımının, çocukların ve kendilerinin üzerindeki etkileri incelemektir.Araştırmanın çalışma grubunun en az 1 senedir spor yapan 8 otizm tanısı almış birey ailesinden oluşmaktadır.Araştırma verilerin nitel araştırma teknikleri kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Bu kapsamda 19 sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat formu hazırlanmıştır. Yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat kapsamındaki sorular, çocukların motorik değişim, zihinsel değişim, günlük yaşam becerilerinde gelişme, problematik davranışlarda azalma, sosyal yaşam becerilerinde artış ve duyusal olaylarda gelişme temalarını kapsayacak şekilde oluşturulmuş ve konu ile ilgili olarak uzmanların görüşleri alınmıştır. Hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu çerçevesinde; katılımcılar ile görüşmeler yüz yüze yapılmıştır. Görüşmeler, görüşülen kişilerin izni alındıktan sonra ses kayıt cihazı ile kaydedilmiştir. Görüşmelerden elde edilen kayıtlar ses dosyaları bilgisayara aktarıldıktan sonra araştırmacı tarafından içerik analizi yöntemi ile çözümlenmiş sonuçlar kategorileştirilerek tablolaştırılmıştır.Araştırmada geçerlilik için; Görüşme formunun hazırlanmasında iki uzman görüşüne başvurulmuş, araştırmanın yöntemi ve aşamaları açık açık anlatılmış, bulgular da sık sık alıntılara yer verilmiştir.Araştırma bulgularına göre; çocuklarda zihinsel, sosyal yaşam becerileri, motorik, problem davranış, günlük yaşam becerileri, sportif branş, ailelerin ise zihinsel, duygusal ve sosyalleşme alanlarında bir çok noktada pozitif yönde gelişim ve değişim olduğu tespit edilmiştir.Sonuç olarak; sportif etkinliklerin otizmli bireylerin ve ailelerinin yaşam kalitesi üzerine olumlu etkiler yaptığı söylenebilir.
