Analisis Karakteristik Intensitas Curah Hujan di Kota Bengkulu

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran siklus bulanan dan tahunan curah hujan maksimum dan mengetahui bentuk karakteristik intensitas curah hujan di Kota Bengkulu selama 30 tahun (1977-2006). Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan bantuan program Software Microsoft Excel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa curah hujan normal Kota Bengkulu yaitu 3413,5 mm/tahun. Intensitas curah hujan tertinggi paling banyak terjadi pada bulan November dan Desember sedangkan intensitas curah hujan terendah paling banyak terjadi pada bulan Juli dan Agustus. Selama 30 tahun (1977-2006) rata-rata curah hujan tertinggi terjadi pada Musim Barat, sedangkan rata-rata curah hujan terendah terjadi pada Musim Timur. Tipe curah hujan di Kota Bengkulu termasuk tipe curah hujan jenis A dengan sifat sangat basah.
