Abstract

Nakon što neki herbicid dospije na površinu tla, on s kišom (oborinama) biva unijet i raspoređen po fazama tla. Tlo se sastoji od krute, tekuće, plinovite i žive faze. Vrlo je kompleksan sustav. Zajedno sa sunčevom energijom omogućuje nam život. Stoga je, nakon unošenja herbicida u tlo, od osobite važnosti pratiti njegovu razgradnju (raspad), njegov utjecaj na žive organizme tla i utjecaj na plodnost tla. U tlu herbicid podliježe različitim procesima, o kojima ovisi njegova sudbina (perzistentnost). Sve postojeće procese možemo razvrstati u procese gubitaka i procese razgradnje. Procesi gubitaka obuhvaćaju ispiranje u dublje slojeve, isparavanje, apsorpciju (usvajanje) biljke i adsorpciju. Procesi razgradnje ili degradacije obuhvaćaju kemijsku, fotokemijsku i mikrobiološku razgradnju. U radu su komentirani činitelji koji utječu na procese gubitaka i razgradnje nekog herbicida u tlu odnosno činitelji koji utječu na perzistentnost nekog herbicida.
