Abstract

Imaginar políticas públicas destinadas al ámbito de las Bibliotecas Escolares en la provincia de Buenos Aires implica pensarlas en un entramado histórico de larga data, donde convergen períodos de alto despliegue de acciones y líneas de trabajo para su impulso y evolución, con momentos de ausencia de propuestas concretas destinadas al sector bibliotecario de instituciones educativas. Estas decisiones responden no solo al perfil político-ideológico de cada gestión a cargo del gobierno de la educación sino también a factores estructurales y contextuales propios de cada período y de cada escenario social en que aquellas se desarrollan. Estos recorridos oscilantes han generado un proceso de crecimiento, desarrollo y evolución que, iniciado en los primeros años del siglo XXI, llega hasta nuestros días. A este período nos referiremos en el presente artículo.
