Abstract

The Spanish population is getting older, and Castilla y León is the region that suffers most from this problem. In the face of a society increasingly has older people who lives more years and in better conditions, organism and public administrations encourage active aging to achieve more age, that people have better health, are more socially involved and have security in all areas The objective of this work is to analyze the forms of coexistence of this increasingly heterogeneous age group, specifically, a private alternative called Senior Cohousing, in which self-determination and self-management prevail.
