Gramática castellana y multiculturalidad

Abstract

El presente artículo pretende reflexionar sobre el dilema al que se enfrentan los docentes cuando, al momento de enseñar la gramática castellana, chocan contra el argumento de que ésta avasalla el derecho de conservación de las variedades lingüísticas. A partir del análisis de estudios etnográficos y experiencias docentes, se examinarán argumentos que sustentan la hipótesis de que la enseñanza de una variedad, no desvirtuaría la otra, y que ambas serían solidarias entre sí. Son muchos los trabajos de investigación que hacen referencia a experiencias áulicas donde los docentes, frente a la aparición de lenguas originarias o variedades del español, comienzan a crear estrategias de trabajo que suplan el vacío metodológico en el que se encuentran. Vacío que se expresa tanto en orientaciones curriculares que guíen cómo trabajar con ellas en las aulas -luego de poéticas teorizaciones sobre el respeto por la diversidad cultural y el derecho de conservarlas, incluirlas y revitalizarlas en el contexto escolar-; y, por otro lado, en la sistematización de una lengua escolar que, ausente en las currículas, sobrevive en un currículum apócrifo docente que entiende su valor, en cuanto sustento para la comprensión, utilización y socialización de la lengua estándar.
