Abstract

The article discusses works whose heroes are persons with disabilities (HIA). The authors of a number of works themselves are persons with disabilities. The presented selection can be used by teachers during class hours devoted to the problem of tolerant attitude to differences between people. Using books in such lessons will make the process of clarifying the characteristics of people with disabilities more personal and accessible for each child. In addition, books may be of interest to children and adolescents with disabilities, as they will allow you to see the resources for accepting and overcoming their existing characteristics.
