Abstract

The importance of physical education and sports for improving the functional state of the body of young people is revealed. The internal motivation of students for physical activity is considered, the most significant motives that act as drivers for improving physical qualities in the process of mastering the discipline “Physical Education and Sports” at a university with a telecommunications focus are identified. The level of daily activity of 1st-year students of the Ural Technical Institute of Communications and Informatics (branch) of the Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Informatics, the personal attitude of students to physical activity are determined.

Раскрывается значимость занятий физической культурой и спортом для улучшения функционального состояния организма молодых людей. Рассмотрена внутренняя мотивация студентов к физической активности, выделены наиболее значимые мотивы, выступающие драйверами для совершенствования физических качеств в процессе освоения дисциплины «Физическая культура и спорт» в вузе телекоммуникационной направленности. Определен уровень повседневной активности студентов 1-го курса Уральского технического института связи и информатики (филиал) Сибирского государственного университета телекоммуникаций и информатики, личностное отношение обучающихся к физическим нагрузкам.
