Implicit function theorems and variational inequalities

Abstract

The author proves an implicit function theorem for set-valued mappings in Banach spaces based on the concept of strong approximation (S. M. Robinson, 1991). The theorem is used in the study of stability of perturbed variational inequalities with strongly monotone operators. Note of the reviewer: The theorem on the stability of solutions of variational inequalities presented by the author is not original (A. B. Bakushinsky and A. V. Goncharsky, 1989).
