The purpose of the article is to reveal the theoretical and practical aspects of the principles of international legal order, their significance for the system of international law, for the functioning of subjects of international law, various spheres and levels of cooperation. Research methods: in particular, dialectical, epistemological, systemic, ontological, comparative-legal, formal-logical, synergistic, structural-functional and a number of other methods and methodological approaches to the study were used. Results: it was established that currently the issue of the principles of international legal order is due to a certain uncertainty, the absence of unified positions on the interpretation of the concept and nature of international legal order itself, and to an even greater extent, the results and state of its practical functioning. The fundamental conceptual theoretical foundations of international legal order, its principles, and implementation on an international and national scale were laid down in the middle of the twentieth century by V. Koretsky, and later developed in the works of V. Denisov, V. Yevintov, V. Butkevych, I. Zabara and other researchers. The combination of achievements of theory and practice allowed us to state the importance and significance of the general (general social, general sociological) principles of international legal order, general legal principles of international legal order, principles of functioning of international legal order; typology of principles of international legal order according to sectoral, spatial and other criteria. Despite the holistic and integrative, complex nature of this phenomenon, its functioning demonstrates the need for orderliness and coherence of the systematic elements, connection and correspondence of systems of international legal regulation, implementation of norms and principles of international law, their stability, continuity and consistency, etc. Discussion: the issues of the correlation of international legal principles and principles of international law, general principles of law, principles of international legal order, along with the principles or foundations of national and supranational legal orders, guarantees of their provision, require proper study and further scientific exploration. The tangible impact of Russia’s war against Ukraine, as well as other armed conflicts of an international and non-international nature, globalization and integration, digitalization and other factors on the transformation of concepts of international legal order, its typology, as well as the strengthening of the relationship with other fundamental institutions, principles of international legal regulation, law enforcement. Метою статті є розкриття теоретичних і практичних аспектів принципів міжнародного правопорядку, їх значення для системи міжнародного права, для функціонування суб’єктів міжнародного права, різних сфер і рівнів співпраці. Методи дослідження: використано зокрема, діалектичний, гносеологічний, системний, онтологічний, порівняльно-правовий, формально-логічний, синергетичний, структурно-функціональний і ряд інших методів, методологічних підходів дослідження. Результати: встановлено, що наразі питання принципів міжнародного правопорядку зумовлене певною невизначеністю, відсутністю уніфікованих позицій щодо трактування поняття і природи безпосередньо міжнародного правопорядку, ще більшою мірою результатами і станом практичного його функціонування. Фундаментальні концептуальні теоретичні основи міжнародного правопорядку, його принципів, реалізації у міжнародному і національному масштабах закладені ще у середині ХХ ст. В. Корецьким, згодом набули розвитку в працях В. Денисова, В. Євінтова, В. Буткевича, І. Забари та інших дослідників. Поєднання здобутків теорії і практики дозволило констатувати про важливість і значущість загальних (загальносоціальних, загально-соціологічних) засад міжнародного правопорядку, загальних юридичних принципів міжнародного правопорядку, принципах функціонування міжнародного правопорядку; типологізації принципів міжнародного правопорядку за галузевими, просторовими та іншими критеріями. Не дивлячись на цілісну та інтегративну, комплексну природу даного явища, його функціонування демонструє необхідність упорядкованості й узгодженості системності елементів, зв’язку та відповідності систем міжнародно-правового регулювання, реалізації норм і принципів міжнародного права, їх стабільності, наступності й послідовності тощо. Обговорення: потребують належного вивчення і подальших наукових розвідок питання співвідношення міжнародно-правових засад і принципів міжнародного права, загальних принципів права, принципів міжнародного правопорядку, поряд з принципами або засадами національного і наднаціонального правопорядків, гарантіями їх забезпечення. Відчутний вплив війни росії проти України, так само й інших збройних конфліктів міжнародного і неміжнародного характеру, глобалізації та інтеграції, цифровізації та інших чинників на трансформацію концепцій міжнародного правопорядку, його типологізацію, а також посилення взаємозв’язку з іншими фундаментальними інститутами, засадами міжнародно-правового регулювання, правозастосування.
