Continuous grazing on Cenchrus ciliarus.

Abstract

Breeding cattle grazed Cenchrus ciliaris continuously for four years. Excellent calving percentages (mean 95, 25%) and good weaning masses (mean 245 kg) were obtained, the A.D.G.'s being 0, 963 kg for heifers and 1, 075 kg for bulls.
