Abstract

Svijest o zaštiti životne sredine probuđena je najviše velikom pažnjom javnosti usmjerenoj ka ozonskim rupama, globalnom zagrijavanju i kiselim kišama. Iz prethodno navedenog, jasno je da je realizacija ključnih logističkih procesa: transport, manipuliranje, skladištenje - u suprotnosti sa zahtjevima za zaštitom životne sredine, pri čemu je cestovni promet okarakteriziran kao jedan od glavnih zagađivača životne sredine. Upravo je to i bio razlog da se, u ovom radu, težište stavi na logistiku kao zagađivača okoliša, točnije na takozvanu zelenu logistiku koja pri realizaciji logističkih procesa osim logističkog, koristi i pristup očuvanja okoliša. Zbog toga će se razmatrati utjecaj suvremene tehnologije kao što su hibridna vozila te razne vrste alternativnih goriva, s ciljem smanjenja negativnog utjecaja transporta na okoliš.
