Utjecaj abiotskih čimbenika na klijavost sjemena koprive (Urtica dioica)

Abstract

Zbog hranidbene, zdravstvene i gospodarske vrijednosti koprive (Urtica dioica L.), u posljednje vrijeme porasla je potražnja za njenom svježom i suhom herbom. No, sakupljanjem biljnog materijala iz prirode iscrpljuju se staništa te se ubire materijal nestabilne kvalitete. Zbog toga se javlja potreba za njenim komercijalnim uzgojem. Poznato je da se može razmnožavati na tri načina (izravna sjetva, presadnice, rizomi), ali ju se zbog sitnog sjemena preporuča uzgajati iz presadnica. Kako bi proces proizvodnje presadnica bio uspješan, potrebno je poznavati biološke zahtjeve koprive. Cilj ovog rada je definirati optimalnu klijavost sjemena koprive u kontroliranim uvjetima topline i svjetlosti. Klijavost je promatrana pri temperaturama 15, 20 i 25 °C u klima komori kroz četiri tjedna, u uvjetima izmjene svjetla i tame (12 sati svjetla i 12 sati tame) te u konstantnoj tami. Najveća klijavost ostvarena je u uvjetima konstantne tame uz temperature 15 °C (23, 5 %) i 20 °C (22 %).
