</script>Precision agriculture in VET focuses on addressing critical challenges in agriculture, such as soil health, water management, and the impacts of climate change, which threaten sustainability and productivity. Conventional farming practices have led to resource degradation, making it essential to shift towards sustainable, data-driven agricultural methods supported by digital technologies. The project aims to strengthen the link between the agribusiness sector and VET providers in the Western Balkans, ensuring that vocational training aligns with labor market demands. By enhancing VET trainers' competencies in Decision Support Systems (DSS), the project supports the adoption of precision agriculture technologiesin semi-arid rural areas. Ultimately, the goal is to aims to strengthen the linkages between the business sector and VET providers through promoting PA solutions in the Western Balkans. More specifically: (I)Build capacities of 21 VET providers on PA techniques, tools and best practices for efficient resource use; (II) Engage 70 VET learners through WBL methods to assess and optimize water and soil management using DSS approaches; and (III) Develop support mechanisms to nurture the PA technology and implementation in semi-arid rural areas. Deliverables expected are: (I) Research report to find enabler and barrier factors influencing PA adoption; (II) TF for PA competences in efficient resource management; (III) Guide for practical implementation of PA systems; (IV) E-learning for digital education; and (V) Dissemination events to promote the project methodology.
