NETeJOB - Strengthening interdisciplinary knowledge networks on the impacts of digital transformation on work conditions in Latin America

Description

Net4Job project aims to strengthen and create knowledge networks in the field of digitalization and its impacts on the work conditions in Latin-American.The project is based on the fact that the digitalization of economic and social lives, which is expanding globally, is an opportunity for the recovery and development of the economy and social welfare. The benefits apply both to socioeconomic contexts that present baseline imbalances, and to those that have been particularly affected by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.Net4Job is a joint multinational project that aims to raise and extend the role of High Education Institutions in bringing the benefits of digitalization to every social stratum, focusing on the pillars of equality, decent work, sustainable development and welfare for every strata. To do that, the Net4Job consortium will set an interdisciplinary network to strengthen the capacities for the production, organization and dissemination of that knowledge that best can capture the social, economic, labour and educational dynamics, distinguishing the unwanted effects of digitalization from those closer to the SDG.The project foresees a set of internally coherent activities and outputs that cover the needs of both the internal and external stakeholders. For example, the creation of networks integrating academic and social agents representing digitalized sectors, or the production of medium length scientific audio-visuals mixing the report of real impacts of digitalization in work conditions and people lives with the analysis carried out under the umbrella of the academic framework. Finally, as a result of the project, an innovative academic program will be designed and implemented to involve students in the academic tasks covering every curricular level.
