Eurydice's Network central role is to support evidence-based European cooperation in education, with the mission of providing European-level analyses and supporting information to assist the decisionmaking process.The network's goal is to contribute towards a better mutual understanding of education systems in Europe through the production of country specific information, comparable country descriptions,indicators and comparative studies in the field of education and training.In the context of this framework, the National Unit (BELGIUM Flemish Community) aims to:• pro-actively contribute to scoping individual activities to ensure their relevance also for national policy making;• provide the central Eurydice Unit in the Executive Agency with information and data on their education systems; the information is essentially normative and qualitative-based, relating to official documents, such as laws, decrees, regulations and recommendations.• promote Eurydice products at national level, by formulating a communication strategy andimplementing plan, as laid down in the description of WP3 below.
