The network's goal is to contribute towards a better mutual understanding of education systems in Europe through the production of country specific information, comparable country descriptions, indicators and comparative studies in the field of education and training. In the context of this framework, the National Unit Hungary aims to:• pro-actively contribute to scoping individual activities to ensure their relevance also for national policy making; • provide the central Eurydice Unit in the Executive Agency with information and data on their education systems; The information is essentially normative and qualitative-based, relating to official documents, such as laws, decrees, regulations and recommendations. • promote Eurydice products at national level, by formulating a communication strategy and implementing plan. All stakeholders (policy makers, researchers, teachers, school heads, educators) benefit from the project by reading reports and National Descriptions and by participating events. Promotional products help further dissemination.
