Move to Improve

Description

The project aims to recognise international programs as a means to build the capacities of VET stakeholders, including schools, VET providers and students. According to the ETF Torino process assessment and recommendations, all four Western Balkan countries involved in the project must increment efforts to implement international programs and promote Work-Based Learning (WBL) within more schools and companies, especially in Vocational Education. Also, these countries show a high rate of skill mismatches and skill shortages in some sectors, which suggests the need for further investments and improvements in training opportunities that could enhance performance and inclusiveness. Finally, Students and teachers need adequate skills to be recognised in the digital and globalised economy to solve the unemployment challenges. The project has an enhanced international approach, as it develops networks and the exchange of good practices and strengthens the capacities of VET actors from third countries not associated with the programme (Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Program countries (Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia).
