FormaRural

Description

"<< Background >>Through the experience gained from previous projects, as well as the daily work of each of the associations involved in the project, clear needs and demands from the target group were identified. In particular, during the development of the Bem-Comum project (E+), the different associations identified the needs of the target audience, among which the need for greater promotion and dissemination of their work and products stands out. This task is often delegated to other institutions, such as associations or local municipalities, due to a lack of tools, which may not be sufficiently productive to achieve a quality leap. In this regard, it was important to strengthen their autonomy by providing them with tools and knowledge that enable them to develop their work more efficiently, taking advantage of the opportunities that new technologies and knowledge in marketing offer to rural entrepreneurship. In this way, the primary needs addressed by the project were:-Lack of digital skills. -Lack of training opportunities. -Low networking capacity. -Scarcity of job opportunities. -Difficulty accessing transnational networks or spaces.<< Objectives >>The FormaRural project had the general objective of ""Training Cultural Actors linked to local cultural heritage (craftsmanship, gastronomy, art, among others) in resources that strengthen their entrepreneurial capacity,"" considering that the majority of the target audience was in an advanced age group and in a high-risk geographical area, both factors making it difficult for them to access knowledge and education in this area.To achieve the proposed general objective, the following specific objectives were established:1.Develop digital skills for local cultural actors.2.Develop marketing skills for local cultural actors.3.Strengthen the autonomy of local cultural actors.4.Strengthen relationships and the networking network among local cultural actors.5.Share experiences with partner organizations at a transnational level.6.Disseminate the project results at local, national, and international levels.<< Implementation >>The activities implemented were:1.3 Transnational Meetings (1 in person and 2 online)2.Elaboration of Pedagogic Material3.6 Training Sessions in each country4.Organization and implementation of a Fair in each country<< Results >>Throughout the Project, various achievements were reached, and results of different kinds were generated, which enabled the attainment of the specific objectives and, consequently, the overarching objective established from the beginning. Considering the above, both quantitative and qualitative achievements and results were obtained.Accordingly, the main quantitative results achieved were as follows:1.16 Training Sessions attendances: 143+ (OE1 2, 3 & 4)2.4 Local Fairs attendances: 287+ (OE3, 4, 6)3.3 Transnational Meetings (OE5)Additionally, the following outputs were generated:1. Elaboration of 6 Pedagogical Materials, collected into one document.2. Webpage hosted in the coordinator website."
