</script><< Objectives >>The main objective of LIFE MAGISTER is to improve the QoL of older people by strengthening the skills of operators in the elderly care sector through new and innovative approaches based on positive ageing.The project aims to:Improve the competences of professionals and caregivers to work effectively with the elderlyAllow seniors to live a more active and independent lifeReduce social isolation and exclusion among older peopleContribute to the development of a more age-friendly society<< Implementation >>LIFE MAGISTER is divided into 3 main work packages: development of a self-assessment tool for professionals dedicated to promote positive ageing; development of a profile of competences to support older adults to live active and independent lives; definition of a policy plan containing findings, recommendations and good practices in cognitive education and inclusion for older adults.The project also includes the activation of 3 training events (1 in each country), plus a final multiplier event.<< Results >>The project expects to achieve the following results:- Implement a self-assessment tool for professionals in the senior care sector to assess their attitudes and competences to promote high-quality positive ageing- Develop a profile of competences for a holistic approach to elderly careIdentify and disseminate good practices in this field.Integrate the results into a policy plan for the partners to build capacity- Disseminate the project's findings to a wide range of audiences.
